How do I keep getting outbid on ebay?

Hello, I'm a newbie at ebay and I'm trying to win this name brand shirt. It seems as if I keep getting outbid instantly on ebay, and it's so annoying. Each time I enter a higher bid than the bidder, I keep getting outbid like crazy. (I keep getting outbid back to back) How do I stop this? I checked yahoo answers previously, pertaining to this matter (In terms of entering a maximum bid) But that still didn't work and I just retracted my bid and started over.Is there a way I can use an ebay sniper The bid started at 99 cents, My bid was $1.05, the Bidder's bid is currently: $1.30. And there is 4 days left. Are there any tips and tricks or anything I should know about since I'm new to ebay. Please offer me some valuable advice and pointers. Thank you kindly.
